I’ve been approached by or worked with a number of different business consultants. Most have the same philosophy – coaching to grow top-line revenue and sales. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this philosophy or focus; it just never called to me. I never aspired to have 50 employees or to remodel 75 kitchens a year or be so big I couldn’t possibly personally know all my customers. I believe business strategies must differentiate your company from its competitors, and be clear, simple and easy to understand. The business needs effective and efficient processes and procedures to protect and grow the bottom line.
